The Healthcare Coordinator is to ensure the coordination of healthcare for
residents in the county. The coordinator is responsible for the coordination
of health resources in Perry County. They will work with existing providers to
the county.
This is a full time salaried position and the office is located in the Perry
County Health Department.
Our coordinator, while working with other providers, promote health fairs,
education seminars, coordinate school health screenings in conjunction with
the school nurses, distribute donated gifts such as books, school supplies,
clothes, etc. Serve as a spokesperson for the county on healthcare issues
and seek grant opportunities. Identify resources and needs of the county.
Works with volunteers of Sowing Seeds of Hope and the governing body of
Perry County.
Coordinate the initiation of public transportation and volunteer
transportation in the county. We work to improve the quality of life here in
Perry County, to assist with insurance issues for residents, to provide
medication assistance for uninsured or underinsured residents.
